Breckenridge is very high.
Base elevation 9,600ft (2,926m).
Highest lift 12,141ft (3,702m).
We spent one day shopping at Silverthorn, and one day skiing at Vail. Poor Rebekah had to be content with just shopping, having broken her wrist snowboarding in Eiselberg (Switzerland) the week before.
